Digital Marketing Account Director

Digital Marketing Agency is seeking an experienced Account Director. With the support of our account management leadership team, this person will be responsible for overseeing various types of digital marketing projects from start to finish in support of client needs.

We pioneered a “big brains” meets “value” digital marketing company that offers everything from proven digital strategy to web/app/mobile development to digital media, analytics and optimization for B2C and B2B clients. Basically we do really cool projects for a mix of Fortune 100, start ups and smaller companies.

As an Account Director, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day workflow of staff on specific accounts. To be most successful, you must be a confident, seasoned leader with a strong digital marketing background.

This position requires proactive service level, maintaining and growing strong relationships with the Agency team, and supporting new business growth. Knowledge of and experience with analytics and reporting is a plus.

The right candidate will have:

  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communication or equivalent
  • At least 7 years experience in relevant role in online marketing
  • Ability to manage overall agency/client relationships and provided strategic input while guiding teams towards the achievement of client objectives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create effective digital marketing strategies and work collaboratively with the planning, creative and development teams to develop and execute digital strategies
  • Ability to manage program execution and financial performance while ensuring that overall strategy is on point
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate several digital acquisition and retention projects
  • Consult with clients regarding digital acquisition and retention campaigns across multiple channels such as Content Marketing, Email Marketing, SEM, Media, SEO, SEM, Social and Branding
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Proofread and quality control email, direct mail, landing pages and other multichannel communications
  • Experience managing budgets, prioritize deliverables and communicate change requests
  • Interpret website metrics
  • Ability to strategically grow accounts by demonstrating ROI improvements or by adding additional services

Demonstrate general understanding of and experience with:

  • Google AdWords, Google Analytics
  • Marketing Automation Platform such as Marketo and Eloqua
  • Web development frameworks
  • Campaign execution framework.
  • Project Management Collaboration systems (Google Docs, Shared Calendars, Trello, etc.)

Possess proven:

  • Ability to identify, communicate and mitigate risks
  • Passion for interactive and social marketing industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient skills in Word, PPT, Excel and Internet research
  • Eager-to-learn attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
